Started as one of the manufacturers of car security products, Mega Cell Marketing Sdn Bhd have over the past 10 years evolved into a strong marketing company that distributes various household products to almost all leading retail chains in Malaysia.
In 2016, Mega Cell Marketing Sdn Bhd has also acquired the sole distributorship for LEDUS LED lighting products from Tech Pro Technology Development.
Tech Pro Technology Development Limited (the “Company”; together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) (stock code: 03823) is listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The Group principally engaged in manufacturing and sales of aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
In order to enhance the values of the Group, to diversify the business of the Company into the potential industry by acquisitions of various factories and companies, through which the Company has entered into the new line of business of manufacturing and sales of LED lighting products and LED lighting parts. Light emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor light source, which are used as indicator lamps in many devices. As the global concern for energy saving and the reduction of carbon emission is getting higher, LEDs are increasingly used for public lighting and indoor lighting.
LEDUS strives to be a world-class green lighting solution provider for the LED industry. The company manages several key R&D centers and manufacturing bases for LED devices. We ensure our quality standards from the factory floor, starting with the production of PCB and chips for light source devices on our ISO certified assembly lines. In addition to the up-stream component lines, LEDUS also owns several assembly factories for both indoor and outdoor LED lamps/luminaries.
Through a combination of strong financial backing and the ability to integrate our own R&D research into existing manufacturing operating platforms, LEDUS provides a one stop solution to serve the green lighting needs of Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, Agent/Dealers, Direct End-Users and Government Projects in Europe, Japan, Greater China and South East Asian countries.
Mega Cell Marketing Sdn Bhd together with LEDUS, we have successfully brought in the consumer LED lighting products into Malaysia and making them available to the public through the largest retail chains including Tesco, AEONBig, Parkson and HomePro.
